Four geographies inside one ZIP code The historic core A compact grid around Main and McDonald streets, defined by the rail line and the pedestrian bridge. This is the only walkable housing and retail in the corridor — restored cottages, antique dealers, coffee, and a dense event calendar.
The estate belt West and south of town, along Kensington and Providence Road South, land opens into acreage: gated communities, board fencing, private barns, and custom homes set far back from two-lane roads.
The school corridors Neighborhood pricing tracks the Marvin Ridge, Cuthbertson and Weddington attendance areas more closely than it tracks distance from downtown. Two houses a mile apart can sit in different catchments.
